Archiving and Restoring Releases

To prevent your Release Library from becoming cluttered, consider archiving old or unused releases. Unlike deletion, archiving is a non-permanent action. Once an archived release is restored from the archive, it can be used without restriction.

Before attempting to archive or restore releases, it is important to understand which releases cannot be archived and what you can and can’t do with archived releases.

  • You cannot archive a release that is assigned to a flow, regardless of whether the flow is deployed or not.
  • Archived releases are subject to the following restrictions:
    • An archived release cannot be edited.
    • An archived release cannot be downloaded.
    • An archived release can’t be made live.

If a release is uploaded with a UUID that matches a currently archived release, the release will be restored so it is accessible in the Release Library.

Archive a release

  1. Go to Library > Releases, and click on the name of the release you would like to archive.

  2. Click Actions, and then click Archive.
